The project “Research of employment mobility of academic youth” was determined by the topics of academic youth unemployment and complicated situation associated with the transfer of this demographic group from education institutions to the labour market and inclusion/participation in entrepreneurship and/or other flexible (nonconventional) forms of employment, which are actualized in a scientific and political context. The project is aimed at examining the experience of the academic youth pertaining to employment mobility and their opportunities for inclusion in the labour market and/or entrepreneurship in order to prepare the guidelines for the enhancement of the academic youth inclusion in the national labour market, enabling to reduce the disbalance between their unemployment and employment and to promote the potential of young entrepreneurs.
Strategy of the research of academic youth employment mobility experiences, their inclusion in the labour market and/or entrepreneurship opportunities will be justified methodologically and the methods, based upon holistic and systemic approaches, will encompass the academic youth as well as decision-making shareholders of this field: representatives of higher schools and labour market.
The research is significant to the maintenance of the balance between unemployment and employment of human resources (academic youth in particular) on the national level. Based on the research findings, guidelines for the enhancement of the inclusion of academic youth in the national labour market will be prepared; the recommendations submitted for decision-making shareholders of this field will impel to search for a dialogue when innovatively dealing with issues pertaining to the inclusion of young and skilled specialists in the national labour market and providing for the opportunities facilitating the transfer from educational institutions to the labour market and/or entrepreneurship as well as other flexible forms of employment.
