Panevėžys Faculty of Technologies and Business offers 2 bachelor’s and 4 master’s level study programmes for students, who may choose between technological and social sciences.

Using the funding provided through exchange programmes lecturers from partners’ universities abroad come for teaching visits. KTU Panevėžys Faculty students had lectures and workshops led by TU Dortmund University (Germany), Szechenyi Istvan University (Hungary), Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (Spain), Cyprus University of Technology (Cyprus), Kocaeli University (Turkey) and other universities.

Management with two specializations: Sales Management and Quality Management, addresses the needs of the region by unifying both program content and structure aspects.

The objective of the study programme is to prepare the bachelors in Management who have theoretical knowledge on management and are able to analyse micro and macro environments of organizations, to evaluate and identify the managerial problems, suggest the decisions on sustainable and rational usage of resources, to foster collaborative relationship with the interested parties and develop management competencies.

The bachelor’s degree study programme Programmable automation systems is unique in its structure, because as long as 3 semesters students will have the opportunity to carry out their internships in production companies. This study programme was set up after identifying the needs of the industrial enterprises the City and the Region of Panevėžys. The programme aims at training bachelors in automation system programming able to design, programme and operate electromechanical automation systems independently, implement the latest technologies of digital production and know the electronics of control devices and computer aided automated control systems.

In 2019 the bachelor degree study programme Programmable automation systems was awarded the Investors Spotlight quality badge. This award is given as a response to market trends and business needs, the quality of the programme and its evolution, and for implementing individual investor recommendations for the study programme and the study process.

Automation is one of the major engines of progress in all areas of modern human activity. The study programme prepares Bachelors of Management Systems, capable of developing, designing, installing and servicing from simple equipment control automation to complex technological processes and traffic flow management systems using classical and modern automation solutions, artificial intelligence and computer senses.

This study programme is designed for active and creative young people who have an ambition to develop their own business or to manage corporate functional units (purchases, sales, exports, etc.). These studies provide the students with key knowledge and insight into business practices, help develop their leadership skills, assist in understanding the principles of socially responsible business development and management and in finding solutions, which increase competitiveness of business.

Construction Management is the programme of civil engineering field, which provides its students with knowledge of project and enterprise management, building information modelling (BIM), and geo-information systems (GIS). The graduates of the programme will possess abilities to ensure quality control during construction processes, to apply BIM and GIS technologies while carrying out construction projects, to conduct scientific research, and to apply its results into practice when developing construction design solutions.

The increasing negative impact of transport system on human life and environment is being recognised as one of essential problems of current societies both by researchers and state institutions. MSc in Vehicle Engineering provides competences needed to meet the challenges of today’s world: the students acquire skills and knowledge essential for development of green transport vehicles, such as development and improvement of hybrid powertrains, development of vehicles running on alternative fuels. The graduates of the Vehicle Engineering master’s programme are capable to explore and apply scientific engineering solutions to improve powertrain efficiency, and to contribute to the sustainable transport system development.

This study programme is dedicated to persons who aim to develop the leadership in their professional field, to create and implement the strategies of organizational development oriented to human resource empowerment and the challenges of global environment. Students will acquire theoretical and methodological knowledge on management, their analytical and creative skills, abilities to make the socially responsible business decisions, team working skills in performing project assignments and analysing cases with real organizational problems. They have possibility to choose one of the alternative modules‘ packages: business management or educational management.

Skills and competences obtained: management solutions, communication, self-analysis and strategic leadership, forecasting and analysis of business environment, management of organizational processes and performance.

Control technologies encompass a wide area of engineering activity. The need for professionals in this field is based on the constant need of enterprises to deploy and improve management systems that are an integral part of modern technology. The study programme prepares masters of control systems, capable of developing contemporary control systems and solving problems of technological processes and control systems.
