The aim of the research is the development of the technical and technology platform for miniature sensors, which have high sensitivity and selectivity to global warming (greenhouse) effect gases. Screening of the candidates of functional materials is performed for absorption speed and capacity, selectivity and technology-ability. Specialized microelectromechanical CMUT structures are created.
Project funding:
Projects funded by the Research Council of Lithuania (RCL), Projects carried out by researchers’ teams
Project results:
The proof of the concept of the sensors with cross-selectivity for at least two kinds of the greenhouse effect gases will be demonstrated.
Period of project implementation: 2017-09-01 - 2019-08-31
Project coordinator: Kaunas University of Technology
Project partners: Lehigh University
